Franz Ferdinand at Pier 17 (August 13, 2022)
Franz Ferdinand performed a stunning set of hits (the tour is appropriately named “Hits To The Head” ) at their sold-out Pier 17 show on August, 13th. The setlist included fan favorites “Walk Away,” “The Dark of the Matinée,” and “Take Me Out,” and the band closed strong with “Ulysses,” and “This Fire.” Considering how formative the band has been to the “early- aughts NY sound” despite hailing from Glasgow, it’s only appropriate that the band received an adoring welcome, and their firey performance was a reminder of how vital and important the band remains.
